Academic Affairs Office

The Academic Affairs Office includes the Instruction Section, Registration Section, Equipment Section, and Experimental Research Section.

Instruction Section

  • Manage teacher course assignments, teaching subjects, and teaching hours, and explain course requirements, textbook outlines, teaching schedules, examinations, and assessment methods.
  • Handle classroom inspection and evaluation work, and conduct weekly class diligence competitions.
  • Plan required and elective course hours for each subject under the academic year credit system.
  • Hold regular subject teaching research meetings to help teachers improve teaching techniques and methods.
  • Hold regular teaching demonstrations for each subject, using teaching methods and techniques flexibly to improve teaching effectiveness and support peer observation.
  • Handle teacher absences, substitute teaching, and make-up classes.
  • Arrange class schedules for all classes and teachers.
  • Plan skill tests, weekly tests, mock exams, and academic activities for home economics-related departments.
  • Coordinate Chinese, English, and other subject competitions, including contestant training plans.
  • Conduct regular teacher teaching evaluations.
  • Handle student assignment spot checks.

Registration Section

  • Handle admissions work, including application admission, recommendation and selection, and joint admission.
  • Handle registration for four-year technical colleges, two-year junior colleges, and university admissions, including recommendation screening, gifted-student admission, application admission, and joint entrance examination registration.
  • Manage student enrollment records.
  • Handle student registration.
  • Handle student grade calculation.
  • Handle applications for internal and external student scholarships and grants.
  • Handle student transfer, department transfer, suspension, and withdrawal affairs.

Equipment Section

  • Organize mathematics and natural science fairs, and select representatives for the central region science fair.
  • Assist with management and maintenance of special classrooms.
  • Handle each semester's procurement procedures for added teaching equipment in each subject.
  • Label and organize equipment in each special classroom.
  • Prepare and plan budgets for adding, maintaining, and organizing teaching equipment for all subjects.
  • Work with the General Affairs Office on property inventory each semester.

Experimental Research Section

  • Handle comprehensive senior high school curriculum and program planning.
  • Handle required and elective courses for the comprehensive senior high school program, including course add/drop work.
  • Promote and explain the academic year credit system.
  • Handle student credit recovery and make-up course affairs under the academic year credit system.
  • Handle cross-school electives for the comprehensive senior high school program.
  • Assist with preparation for vocational high school evaluation visits.
  • Assist the Academic Affairs Office with administrative computerization work.
